One of our clients who is building a Kiribati 36 in Southern Brazil sent us these pictures of him turning the hull single handed.
Mr. Vanderlei asked me for some tips on how to do it, and I gave him some advice and also sent him the line along which the center of gravity lies at this stage of building, which is easy to do because the whole design is modeled as solid bodies, and with this he positioned his pivot points.
After doing this he could move it with minimal external force input, making the operation safe and quick.
Mr. Vanderlei is the same client that built the first unit of the Little Nomad dinghy design. We are amazed at the quality of his work, and how fast he progresses!
He is building hull number 4 of the model, and we hope to see him sailing soon!
